I became a Flight Attendant, my childhood dream job. While working a flight, I met the man of my dreams, relocated to another country and am the mother of two beautiful boys. Traveled and learned difficult languages. The strength that I found through faith, and my belief in God helped me to expect a greater future.

Then one day, I was diagnosed with a malignant tumor of the breast, and I started to ask the question why me?

My life shifted from security to questions like: what if I die? What is going to be of my children? Would my husband be able to handle the pressure? Is this the great future I believed for? I could not believe this was happening to me. This is not how the Cinderella story happy ending is supposed to be. Deep inside of me I knew about the loving God who once protected me when I was drastically hit by a car at the age of nine. What about the times that I was not aware of being in danger? He has always been by my side. That is the faithful God I know since I was eight years old.

The second and third diagnoses were metastases in liver, lungs, and bones. My body has endured many surgeries, and treatments. In one occasion I looked in a very bad shape. When others saw death on me, faith raised up in my heart and helped me breathe the spirit of life within me. Perhaps you or someone that you know might be feeling this way, allow my testimony to lift you up, and bring you hope, as you build your faith in God’s Word

I stand with authority and power given to all God’s children through Jesus Christ. I resist that evil spirit that has tried to eliminate me out of this world. I choose to live and not to die, as I learn the true meaning of the death and resurrection of Jesus. The benefit of His precious Blood shed for us on the Cross. Take courage, wipe off your tears, and give yourself a chance to believe the impossible without doubt. Putting on the whole Armor of God, rest assured that the battle has been won. Death was defeated 2000 years ago at Calvary, and so was cancer.

As I walk and fight the good fight of faith, it is my prayer that others would be encouraged through these words. That they open their hearts, and position themselves in faith to receive this revelation. God wants you to prosper in every way, and that your body may keep well, even as your souls keeps well and prospers. This revelation has become so real to me. Faith comes by hearing and hearing of the Word of God.
