ENCOURAGEMENT

And You will receive Power

What are we without strength? We are weak, hopeless, without dreams and vision... powerless. When we face a battle that brings difficulty to our lives, the mind starts to reasoning, and emotions take place in the body. The situation we are facing starts to take strength in us, as we start to speak what we are seeing, feeling, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching. We are spirit, soul, and body. The five senses represents the body. Our five senses constantly battle with our spirit, and also battling are our will, feelings, and emotions, which represent the soul. These are what the enemy uses as his ground and territory of war, to battle against us in the mind.

The eyes see the situation or medical report, the symptoms start taking place, the ears hear what others have to say regarding the situation. The nose smell the direction where the battle is going, for some is death, while others get the attitude of a fighter to fight back the sickness or situation. The taste of the battle might be awful for some, as they step in and fight for their lives. The hands can touch and feel the evidence of the diagnose or whatever the issue might be. The good news is that Jesus already won the battle for us, and it is up to us to believe His finished work on the cross.

He not only won the battle for us, but after He ascended to heaven, God sent us the Holy Spirit. "But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you." (John 14:26) Once you ask Jesus to come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit also comes, and resides in your heart. Galatians 5:22-23 tells us that the fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. That is also an exciting news, these full package of fruits reside within us, as part of the Holy Spirit. Jesus's blood on the cross gave us power to stand and resist all evil!

When some people hear about the Holy Spirit, they get scared thinking that is something spooky. Others do not like to talk about the Holy Spirit or do not even believe in Him. Yes, the Holy Spirit is a person, and He is part of the Trinity (The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). For some it is hard to understand the Trinity. Whatever you might not understand here on earth, our Father in heaven will make you understand in heaven. There is not confusion in heaven, and as we walk the path of life on earth, we walk by faith and not by side.

Jesus is that Precious Gift that the Father gave to us. The Precious Gift comes together with fruits that will nourish your spirit, soul and body. Welcome this Gift in your heart, and receive the full benefit of His love for you. So why to walk without that Power that has been given to us by the Father through Jesus His Son? Ask Him: "Jesus, come in to my heart, take over my life, and do something with it. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. I receive Your Power. I love you Jesus, Amen"
