ENCOURAGEMENT

Don't blame God

God gets the blame most of the time, for the wrong things that happen in people's lives. Wrong teaching has made people believe that God allowed that disease to attack their bodies, or He will heal you according to His will. This is not the nature of God. From the beginning of creation, God cared for Adam and Eve. God is a loving God, and He has given us a free will. We choose the direction of our lives. You can believe anything you choose to believe, faith is a choice. And yes, it is His will for you to be healed!

We live in a fallen world, and although the devil has been defeated, he has not yet been destroyed so he is doing his evil things... stealing, killing and destroying (John 10:10) The last book of the Bible also tells us how his end will be. The enemy's strategy is to deceive people to blame God because of sickness, poverty, catastrophes and so on. God is a good God, and He loves us so much. We are His children, and as a Father that He is to us, He wants the best for you and me. He wants us to be in good health even as we prosper (3 John 1:2) Look at the birds of the air, they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? (Matthew 6:26)

This thought came to me, when I was diagnosed with cancer the first time... I thought that God was punishing me for my past sins... that was only a thought, because in my heart I knew that all my sins were washed away by the Blood of Jesus. Therefore, I did not accept that thought to take root in my heart, so I cast it out and did not welcome it in my mind! The enemy uses negative thoughts to attack the mind, and worry the heart so that we start saying negative words; once those negative words come out of our mouth, they open the door to the enemy to carry out his evil plan. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. For He will give His angels charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways. (Psalms 91:7,11) God is a loving and faithful God. He also wants to protect you from all evil.

Jesus' death and resurrection, made God's blessings available to us, and it's up to you to choose to receive it. I encourage you to be on God's side, and allow Him to direct your path, as you give Him control over your life. God loves you!
